A Winchester woman is accused of being a prostitute who advertised her sex services online. Airyssa Shannon, 21, of Winchester was nabbed Wednesday by police as part of a sting operation that involved several law enforcement agencies, according to a news release from the Redlands Police Department.
Also arrested was Gregory Wayne Atkins, 24, when he dropped one of the women off. He is accused of violating terms of his parole, according to the report. The bust occurred Wednesday when officers set up in a motel room in the City of Redlands and contacted women who advertised on Craigslist.
When each of the women arrived, they negotiated sexual acts they would perform and accepted money from the undercover officers. The women were arrested after the money changed hands," the news release states. All three women were cited for prostitution and booked at Central Detention Center in San Bernardino, according to the news release.
