However, SA Hip Hop royal, AKA has now shared his own take on the iconic election and presidency of the first black president of the North American nation.

The SupaMega took to social media platform, Twitter, to reveal his admiration for the Obama inspiration, but he doesn’t see its importance for South Africa which has been ruled by blacks for 24 years.

“I totally understand the relevance and the inspiration of Obama being the 1st black president of ?? to an African American but people try and make it sound like its supposed to mean something to a South African who’s been living in a country run by black people for 24 years.” AKA Tweeted.

The “Touch My Blood” mastermind is one who is known for his active and sometimes controversial political opinions and this latest view has generated a world of debate across social channels.
